Signs of Ovulation: The Six Your Body Actually Gives You
Some signs predict ovulation while there is still time to act. Others only confirm it after the fact. Knowing which is which is the whole skill.
- Only two signs are predictive: fertile cervical mucus and a positive LH test. Both appear before the egg is released.
- The basal body temperature shift is confirmatory. It rises after ovulation and tells you what already happened.
